The essentials of using MoneyOak and subscribing to Premium.

1. Using MoneyOak

MoneyOak is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking tool operated by Omar Zaki. The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains MoneyOak’s service and subscription arrangements and does not replace that license.

Last updated: October 9, 2026.

Keep your sign-in secure and use the service only for information you are permitted to store. Do not attempt to access another person’s records, disrupt the service or bypass access controls.

2. Your records and backups

You are responsible for the accuracy of the records, exchange-rate overrides and imported data you enter. MoneyOak does not independently verify bank balances. Reference exchange rates are estimates for reporting and may differ from the rates used by banks or merchants.

Synchronization keeps devices up to date; it is not a historical backup. Export backups before replacing data, importing a migration or deleting your account. Keep backup passwords safe. Restoring a backup overwrites the current dataset after confirmation.

3. Free and Premium

Free includes 3 active accounts, 10 active categories and subcategories combined, and 10 transactions per transaction date. Premium removes those Free-plan limits and unlocks Overview, recurring transactions and full 1Money migration. General technical, storage and security limits still apply.

Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The current price, currency and duration are displayed in the app and Apple’s purchase sheet before you agree to pay. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. You can view the renewal date and cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MoneyOak. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally remains until the current paid period ends. Apple controls billing and any cancellation deadlines shown at purchase.

Deleting MoneyOak or your MoneyOak account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Manage a subscription with Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to its rules and any rights under applicable law.

To restore access, sign in to the same MoneyOak account and select Restore purchases on the Premium page using the appropriate Apple Account. Subscription expiry does not delete your financial history. Premium-only actions may be restricted until you renew.

4. Availability and financial decisions

Some functions need an internet connection, compatible iOS features or permissions. iOS controls when background tasks run; daily sync is a frequency preference, not a guaranteed time. Recurring automatic transactions are processed when the app runs and may need to catch up after time away.

MoneyOak provides organization and reporting tools, not financial, investment, tax or accounting advice. Check records and calculations before relying on them for a financial decision. Service interruptions, unavailable rate providers and software errors can occur.

Your rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected. Nothing on this page excludes a right or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Deletion and support

You can delete your account from Settings. See account-deletion instructions and our privacy policy for what is removed and what may remain with you or service providers.

For questions about MoneyOak, contact support@moneyoak.app. Changes to this service information will be reflected in the updated date above.
